Detailed information

A networked acoustic detection system that detects both airborne (UAVs, helicopters) and ground threats (vehicles, explosions, loud conversation, illegal logging).

Purpose:
The unified network integrates: early warning systems and air threat detection capabilities; the FENEK UAV detection system (in coordination with multispectral video surveillance systems and radio frequency analyzers); and combat response and defense capabilities.

Fenek detects and tracks the azimuth, elevation angle, and signal strength of the airborne target in real time. Primary mathematical processing is performed directly by the processor unit of each device at the installation site. Primary data is stored locally on each device, which reduces the load on the information network by transferring already processed information to the center. The use of special mathematical algorithms and artificial intelligence technologies allows for adaptive filtering of ambient acoustic noise in real time.

Specifications:
– Detection type: acoustic
– Power supply type: PoE at/af, passive PoE
– Power consumption: up to 25 W
– Degree of protection: IP65
– Temperature range: -25°C to +40°C
– Dimensions: 210 x 280 mm
– Time to readiness: up to 180 seconds
– Duration of continuous operation: 24/7

Detection range:
– FPV drone – up to 100 m
