Provides secure and stable communication between the control unit and the platform without using radio waves — ensuring complete protection against electronic warfare (EW).
Purpose:
The fiber optic reel provides a secure channel for video transmission, telemetry, and control of drones operating in environments with active electronic warfare (EW). It is used in reconnaissance and special operations, in areas with a high risk of signal jamming or MANPADS deployment, as well as in scientific and industrial applications where radio communication is prohibited or unreliable.
Features:
-
Fiber length: from 2 km to 20 km (custom options available).
-
Weight: from 650 g to 2 kg (depending on the length and reel design).
-
Reel dimensions (examples): 328 × 195 mm, 368 × 160 mm.
-
Bandwidth: up to 100 Mbps (actual performance depends on the configuration of equipment at both ends).
-
Supported protocols: S-BUS, CRSF, Ethernet.
-
Materials and design: wound and manufactured in Ukraine; moisture- and impact-resistant housing.
-
Compatibility: integrates with standard FPV systems and flight controllers (requires corresponding optoelectronic equipment at both ends of the line).
Advantages:
-
EW resistance: since data transmission occurs through fiber optics, radio signal jammers have no effect.
-
Reliable video and telemetry channel even in environments with intense radio interference.
-
Easy integration with existing FPV drones thanks to support for standard protocols.
-
Flexible configurations (length, weight, and dimensions tailored to client requirements).
-
Domestic production and field testing in cooperation with drone manufacturers and volunteer teams.
-
Suitable for both civilian and military applications — from operations in hazardous zones to confidential special missions.
