A shelter to protect our military from drone attacks, bullets, shrapnel and secondary impact factors, as well as from precipitation.
Purpose:
The installation of a cover over the communication passages of the strongholds will protect our soldiers from drone attacks and allow them to move unnoticed through the stronghold.
Also, the cover over the trench will provide additional protection from bullets, shrapnel and secondary impact factors.
It is also important to protect the trench from precipitation.
How it works:
If necessary, the cover kit is transported by two soldiers on light carts to the support point to the place of installation. First, the support anchors are driven in. Reinforcing arches are inserted into them. The longitudinal rods are attached to the reinforcing arches with tie wire. The reinforcement cage should be installed in 2-meter sections. Upon completion of the reinforcement cage, composite mesh blanks are attached to it. The composite mesh is attached to the reinforcement with plastic clamps. On top of the mesh, the structure is covered with geotextile and waterproofing film. The fabric and film are fastened to the frame with clamps in the lower part of the structure. Upon completion of the installation work, the cover structure is covered with soil 0.5-1 m high (depending on soil density).
The cover kit for a 10-meter trench consists of:
– reinforcing arches f18 mm 2 m long – 11 pcs.,
– longitudinal reinforcing rods f10-12 mm 2.2 m long – 20 pcs.,
– support anchors for arches – 22 pcs,
– composite mesh f6 mm mesh 50×50 mm size 1.1 mx2m – 10 pcs,
– geotextile – 24 m2,
– waterproofing (film) – 24 m2,
– knitting wire 1.1 mm – 0.5 kg,
– plastic clamp (tie) – 100 pcs.
The total weight of the kit is 140 kg.
Advantages:
Light weight, which allows the kits to be delivered manually on lightweight carts to the trenches at the front line.
Simple and easy to assemble design, does not require the use of machines and mechanisms.
Easy to manufacture, allowing for scalable production.
Reusable for multiple applications.
