Prevents traumatic amputation of a limb in the event of an anti-personnel mine.

Purpose:

The invention is designed for individual protection of the legs from the effects of high-explosive anti-personnel mines.

Characteristics:

The components of the invention are made of plastic and composite materials. Due to the design of the product, the human foot is removed from the heel of contact with the mine by a distance sufficient to reduce the explosive impact of an anti-personnel mine.

Advantages:

  • Reduced contact surface area of the product with the ground, quicker donning and doffing, and the ability to use on different types of soil.
  • The product has been tested with mines: PFM-1 (40 grams high explosive), PMN-2 (100 grams high explosive), PMN (200 grams high explosive). Orders are received and used by humanitarian demining units, the State Emergency Service, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
  • The invention does not require maintenance during operation. In the event of an explosion, the product can be reused after replacing the damaged elements.
